The year outside the classroom
A calendar planned around learning by doing
Every month of the academic session carries planned activity — reading, science, mathematics, writing, speech, quiz, art and craft, sport and cultural work — alongside the festivals and national days the school marks together.
Festivals and celebrations
Days the whole school marks together
Janmashtami opens the celebration calendar in September with a Krishna theme and creative activity, and younger classes dress for the day. Rakshabandhan in August brings rakhi making and craft; Ganesh Chaturthi brings clay and atta modelling; Navratri in October brings Garba, Rangoli and traditional dress; and Diwali in November brings diya decoration and rangoli competitions.
Independence Day, Gandhi Jayanti and Republic Day are marked with the whole school present, and Christmas, Basant Panchami, Mahashivratri and Holi each carry their own activities through the second half of the session.
Art and craft
Work made by hand, shown and judged
Art and craft activity runs every month and is taken seriously: entries are made in class, displayed on tables for the whole school to see, and awarded in front of the students who made them.
Clay and atta modelling, drawing and sketching, leaf and nature craft, rakhi making, diya decoration, rangoli and chart work all appear across the year's calendar, with competitions held for junior and senior classes alike.
Sport and yoga
Physical activity on the school ground
Sports activity is part of the monthly programme and appears on the calendar in August alongside science and creative activity. Yoga sessions are held on the open ground with both junior and senior students, led by a teacher demonstrating each posture before the class follows.

Recognition
The Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony
The school year closes with results, a parent–teacher meeting and prize distribution in the second half of March. The ceremony is held in the assembly area, with a stage for performances and an award for every student whose work through the year has earned one.
Students perform, families attend, and winners are photographed with their teachers and their certificates — which is how most of the photographs on this website came to be taken.
